Architect of the Technical University of Munich, Nikoleta Tsikoti weaves together the worlds of art, design, and sustainability. Her journey flows through postgraduate studies in Art History at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Product Design at the International University of Greece, culminating in her current PhD research on “Upcycling in Product Design.”
Guided by the wellknown greek creators Stelios Mavromatis and Stelios Koupegos, Nikoleta finds expression in painting, assemblage, and collage always reusing-rethinking-upcycling materials.Nikoleta creates upcycled costumes for the famous environmental event in Thessaloniki with wearable art out of disgarded materials. She is member of the Association of Visual Artists of Northern Greece and the Spanish Hat Association, where her passion for hats transforms forgotten, broken, or faded hats, parts and pieces into one-of-a-kind wearable art.
