Masario has always been passionate about hats. She began by wearing them, then learned to make them, which led her to research hat-making materials—especially natural fibers—and to try to combine these materials with fashion and design.
Her time at university, in the School of Chemical Sciences, allowed her to delve deeper into natural dyes and achieve the unique colors that make our brand truly one-of-a-kind.
Today, Masario is a leading European brand for wide-brimmed hats and woven straw headpieces.
These wide-brimmed hats are crafted in Spain using a traditional artisanal process of dyeing, sewing, and pressing. We work with different widths of straw. Our hat forms are our own original designs, allowing us to create all kinds of shapes.
