Mariana Olivera is an Argentine milliner specializing in headwear for the performing arts, film, and fashion. Throughout her career, she has collaborated on numerous theatrical productions and international shows, creating pieces for stages in Argentina, France, Austria, and Spain.

She initially trained in her home country and later honed her skills in France under the tutelage of masters Estelle Ramousse and Gregoria Recio, where she earned the title of Modiste-Chapelière awarded by the Chambre de Métiers d’Art and the Mairie de Paris. She later expanded her training in Lunéville embroidery with artisans associated with the House of Chanel and earned a second diploma in luxury leather goods after training at the Louis Vuitton ateliers.

Her work combines the tradition of the craft with the exploration of new forms, materials, and expressive possibilities. She currently heads the millinery workshop at Sastrería Cornejo, a historic house dedicated to theatrical costumes.

She views millinery as a living field where technique, experimentation, and creation interact in the service of the stage and the character.
