Cristina de Prada is a hat designer based in Barcelona who specializes in haute couture hats—one-of-a-kind pieces that highlight the wearer’s individuality. She also enjoys creating custom hats for men, having designed a Homburg model specifically for the Barcelona-based brand MISUI.
In 2018, she won the prestigious Coup de Coeur award at the “Rencontres Internationales des Arts du Chapeau” in Chazelles-sur-Lyon for her hat La cabeza en las nubes.
In 2022, the Government of Catalonia awarded her the Master Artisan diploma.
She contributes to the promotion of hat culture through the Paseo con Sombrero de Barcelona and the Barcelona Hat Days, which she co-organizes.
